Welcome to the web-site of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church.  Our Church is under the jurisdiction of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada (Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople).  We are located in Oshawa, Ontario, approximately 50 kilometres east of Toronto.  Our parish was founded in 1935, and adheres to the doctrine and practice of the Orthodox Christian (often referred to as the Eastern Orthodox or Greek-Orthodox) Church.

Unless otherwise noted, services are conducted bilingually in Ukrainian and English.
Vespers is served mostly in English, and the Divine Liturgy mostly in Ukrainian. 
We follow the "Old-style" or Julian church calendar.
